The Best Bead Patterns to Get You Started

Here is a list of some of the best free patterns on this site for beginner beaders. These are quick, easy and teach a variety of stitches and beading techniques.

1. Animal Patterns

Some cute and really easy to make animal patterns in Peyote and Brick stitch. The Brick stitch owl teaches increases in that stitch and the loomed Mountain Lion is an excellent first loom or square stitch project.

2. Brick and Strands Bracelet

Very easy, very quick and incredibly versatile - you can use just about any type of bead in the strands. An excellent beginner's project.

3. Criss Cross Bracelet

Using 10mm glass beads with seed beads, this cute bracelet works up in a jiffy and won't roll around on your wrist!
