Mid-October is a great time to get started with any holiday beading you'd like to complete this year. After all, beading takes a bit of time, especially if you're into beadweaving with seed beads. I decided to kick off my winter projects with some simple little beaded ornament covers. This week's new free pattern walks through my technique, which is a form of beaded lace. These ornaments work up more quickly than fancier designs that have lots of fringe, but even without fringe, they're awfully cute. Consider beading a set of five or six to gift to someone who celebrates Christmas.
