I finally got around to using these lovely, designer-finish CzechMates I ordered a little while back:
The color is called opaque green luster, and it has a wonderful, swirly finish of greens, blues, yellows, and even a little purple.
The new pattern I whipped up uses a modified version of right-angle weave with a built-in bead-and-loop clasp. It's easy enough for any beginning beadweaver to tackle.
You can make several of these bracelets in the same or different color palettes and wear them stacked for a really cute look. It's also possible to build on the pattern and add a second row of beadwork for a wider band--something I'll cover shortly (stay tuned).
If you decide to make the same or a similar bracelet, be sure to snap a photo and submit it to our new Bracelets Gallery. I'm excited to see what you come up with.
