My Earrings from the Beading Daily Earring Swap

A couple of months ago, I posted some information about an earring swap being run by the folks over at Beading Daily. I very excitedly whipped up a pair of Swarovski crystal earrings, carefully packaged them and included my form and contact information, and sent them off. For the month of September, I got caught up in everything else going on and didn't really give the earring swap too much thought.

Until the other day, I went to my mailbox and saw a little tan padded envelope with familiar handwriting scrawled across the front. I realized that this little package contained a pair of earrings that had been swapped for the ones I sent in!

The earrings I received in the Beading Daily Earring Swap

I was absolutely thrilled when I saw them - they were obviously made with great skill and care, and they look gorgeous when worn. They are made from two brass squares, two textured silver circles, a pair of lampwork glass disks, twisted copper jumprings and a pair of beautiful copper earwires. The mixture of metals and glass looks great with just about everything in my closet, and I love the longer length of them, too.

If you missed out on the earring swap, don't worry - there are lots of other beaded jewelry swaps going on over at the Beading Daily Forums. Just read the Bead Chat Forum to find a bracelet, earring or bead swap that you can join and get ready for some great fun.
