I absolutely love emBead™, a silk-covered beading cord that is a miracle unto itself. It is a perfect medium for creating your own surface embroidered beaded jewelry items, specifically bracelets and necklaces, but I have considered using it to frame a dimensional bead embroidery image, or to stitch to the hem of a skirt to give it some structure and to add embellishment. It would make a great belt in single width for the very slender, or if stitched together in a double width for those of us no longer able to carry off the slim little belts we once wore. And what a great hatband fabric! There is a "bangle" type bracelet available in emBead™ cord, and they get my vote as Best Bangle Bracelets Ever because they don't make that awful, alarming clattering noise every time you move your arm.
